If you have been reading the news I’m sure already heard of the alpha release of the next release of Ubuntu code named Intrepid Ibex. It comes with a new theme named NewHuman. If you would like to try that new theme on your Hardy Heron Box, add these lines to your sources.list
#NewHuman theme deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kwwii/ubuntu hardy main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/kwwii/ubuntu hardy main
save and reload your sources with
sudo apt-get update
Then to install the NewHuman theme
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine human-theme ubuntu-artwork
Then Ctrl + Alt + BackSpace to restart gdm (Gnome Display Manager)
Login back , go to your menu, System->Preferences->Appearance
You can then choose the NewHuman theme and Enjoy!!!!
